Producer & Director
As Producer and Director with The Women's Company, I oversee the development and production of all productions, events and programmes. My responsibilities include producing, directing, project planning, fundraising, grant writing, marketing, audience development, financial management, and building partnerships that support the long-term growth of the company.
My work with the company has focused on creating sustainable pathways for new Canadian theatre productions and artists from under represented communities. This includes leading the development of “Annette is a Bimbo!”, a new musical about Queer joy which has expanded from its original production into a remount, a filmed presentation, publication, and continued development. I work closely with our artists to ensure our artistic ambitions are supported by strong programming, all while upholding our ideals of intersectional third-wave feminist activism.
