Mort was determined to discover the underlying logic behind the universe. Which was going to be hard, because there wasn't one.

Death comes to us all, and when he came to Mort he offered him a job. After being assured that being dead was not compulsory, Mort accepted. However, he soon found that his humanity did not mix easily with the responsibilities of being Death's apprentice.

Directed by Landon Walliser, Terry Pratchett's hilarious fourth Discworld® story establishes once and for all that Death really is a laughing matter, and sends you home feeling happy to be human.
